I am 25 year old male. I am suffering from teeth sensitivity for past 1 month. I had visited more than 6 dentists. Actual problem is that I have sensitivity in all teeth all the time. Also when I speak it causes severe pain and sensitivity in all teeth. I am using sensodine toothpaste but no relief and medicines as well. Dentist told me that all the wisdom tooth surgery will be required. I am very confused. Is the wisdom tooth extraction will be the solution. Please assist.

Pain and sensitivity differs. Sensitivity occurs when you take a very hot or cold items ,due to cold breeze etc .if you have pain you cannot able to chew, you while severe pain while eating even a soft item ,sometimes you may get pain just if you touch your opposing teeth. So differentiate between pain and sensitivity. Sensitivity reduces through RA- Thermoseal tooth paste. What you do is take paste on your finger and apply it directly on the teeth and wait for 15 to 20 min and wash off .do like this twice or thrice a day .gradually your sensitivity decreases. But if you have infection or any deep cavity pain occurs and this pain will not reduce by tooth pastes. So go for appropriate treatment.

Anyone cure from oral herpes simplex using homeopathy? If I take homeopathic medicine manage symptoms only or complete cure from herpes virus please tell me truth if cure mean how long need to take medicine.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine & Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- Oral HSV infections can be completely cured by ayurvedic treatment. Ayurvedic healing focuses on providing strength and balance to the whole system. Because the herpes virus cannot be eliminated from the body once it’s contracted, ayurvedic treatment for herpes works to control outbreaks by supporting agni for a healthy immune system. Healthy agni allows the body to absorb nutrition, assimilate emotional states and expel toxins. If you have contracted either type of herpes virus, try soothing imbalanced agni by avoiding spicy, hot and sour foods, alcohol, cheeses and sesame oil. An ayurvedic practitioner can recommend specific herbal blends and foods to balance your doshas and support your immune system.

Soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices should be consumed in a limited quantity because they are acidic in nature. Acidic food or drinks often soften the tooth material which leads to the dissolution of minerals into the tooth enamel, resulting in cavities (holes).

Your pain could be due to sinusitis, that is inflammation of sinuses due to infection. Sinuses are air filled spaces in facial bones around the nose, eyes and forehead. They get infected with throat infections. You should consult an ent specialist to treat sinusitis with antibiotics. If problem persists consult again.

I am suffering from uvula ulcer from past 5 days it is not allowing me even drink, eating is a way long I took the medication itraconazole, luliconazole, clotrimazole to cure ringworm but I have stopped them from 10 days and I took becosules for current ulcers but it is not helping.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Nutritional deficiency, excessive stress & debilitating disease can cause ulcer. Exercise regularly. Have a balanced diet. Eat lot of fruits & green leafy vegetables & drink plenty of water. Increase dietary intake of vitamin B, folic acid, iron and use of vitamin supplements etc under medical supervision if blood tests confirm low concentrations. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. If you are concerned, or if the sore doesn’t seem to be healing, contact your dentist Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals.

Tongue Cleaning

Tongue cleaning is as important as brushing and flossing. Use of a proper tongue scraper every morning will remove tongue plaque and freshen your breath.

My teeth broken in car accident. Front teeth look like so bad. Teeth also feel pain taking water. Any suggestion to me.
U need to visit a dentist at the earliest. Get an x ray done n get the damage evaluated. If the teeth damage is minimal, tooth coloured filling ll b sufficient. If the damage involves the teeth pulp area, rct n capping'll b done n if reqd, post n core build up'll b done. If the fracture lines extend into the root portion of your teeth n cannot n restored, they could b extracted following which they'll b replaced with artificial teeth. Meanwhile maintain good oral hygiene n avoid chewing using your broken teeth. Use a mouthwash.
