MRI IMPRESSION 29 August 2016 -Posterior diffuse disc herniation at L4 -5 level with bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy causing narrowing of bilateral neural recesses with compression of bilateral traversing nerve roots at same level. -Posterior diffuse disc bulge at L5-S1 level indenting ventral thecal space at same level -Changes of lumbar spondylosis I was having pain at my right hip joint on 15/8/16. It went unbearable extending to RT leg. On 3rd September night as usual on bed all the 24 hours trying to sleep on 4th at 5 am all my pain went. Till then no pain but having burning sensation on right foot, tingling, falling rt foot asleep when I sit on chair. Please advise:- 1. Surgical intervention required? Or 2.Pregabalin,Tolperisone, methylcobalamin,Calcium and D3 with rest will cure me fully? Or 3. Somekind of spinal exercises also required? ERODHA.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.)--. Fomentation with warm water. Avoid direct flow of AC or Cooler. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for Back Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. If no relief in 2-3 days, contact me again (through this platform only) Kindly make sure, there is no allergy to any of these medicines. (Contact your family doctor, if needed). Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

dear madam. 26 yrs lower back ache is unlikely due to serious cause. most common cause is excessive strain on back while working. kindly do back strengthening exercises and have balanced diet, add some vegetarian diet too. and hot fomentation you can try. if it is not getting reduced with these please let me know.

As your tests are normal , go for ultra sound of upper abdomen to rule out liver disease.It may be muscular, you do breathing exercises.

Dear you can do ice or ice pack application over your painfull heel around 15 to 20 minutes 4 times in a day. Then you have to do kneading with your thumb over heel. It will help you. And you may concern qualified physiotherapist.

Hi knee pain and backache have various causes for chronic pains and each should be evaluated with x rays/ MRI scans. Yes if deformed knees from long standing arthritis, then abnormal stress to spine is transmitted with secondary changes. Any way, both area causes should be treated. Commonly it's osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease at both places, if arthritis profile blood tests don't show any other form of arthritis. Management is by anti inflammatory drugs, physiotherapy mainly unless advanced stages when corrective surgery is done. So consult an orthopedics surgeon best wishes.

Till feb 2016 I was a regular runner, who approx. Runs for 3 km daily. But from last year feb onwards I experienced some sort of discomfort and heaviness on my both knees, but no pain .(i weighed 98 kg and height 185 cm - athletic built body). But by march 16 week 1 itself I experienced slight pain and swelling on knees. Eventually I stopped running and consulted few ortho doctors, they took x ray and prescribed many remedies and medicines, but in vain and I was so frustrated.(on june 2015 my left hamstring got injured while playing football and I hardly recovered from that) by april last I started my dieting along with consuming herbalife and gradually I started to loss weight. Naturally my knees got better, but still when I squat, creaking and popping sound can be heard followed by awful pain. Also till now I cannot run properly. Now in april I weigh jus 81 kg and I am happy but still my knees suffer when I squat. Also recently I found that I am also suffering from false curvature on both legs. Please suggest to improve my condition. Tnk u.

Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day.

Do rest. Do hot fermentation. Do stretching exercise. Avoid long sitting toward bending lifting weight. Many reason possible related to back pain and possibility to major problem so a consult physiotherapist posture correction must.
