I am 20 years old. My height is 5'8. And body weight is just 45 kgs. I am facing excessive hunger from past one year. I need food every 4 hours. If I don't eat food every 4 hours then I feel no energy in body. When I woke up from bed that time also have strong craving for food.

Hi, eating 4 hours once small frequent meal is healthy habits only. Ensure what you consume while eating. Choose a healthy options. According to your height 173 cms. Ideal weight is 73 kgs. Target to increase your weight. Mainly focus to improve your protein & carbs intake to gain healthy weight & muscle. Protein helps to stabilize your hunger & food craving. Dinner take protein & complex carbs (e.g roti with paneer or dal or eggs or nv) so that you will feel full until next day morning.

Drinking water quantities do not depend upon weight nor it's fixed. As we all have different lifestyle, lives at different places some in hot regions some cold, some work outdoors in sun n some indoors in ac. So thumb rule is- check color of your urine. If it's transparent then it means you r taking enough amount of water. But if it's yellow even pale yellow then you need to drink more water.

It should be around 46-48 kg. This is growing age, at this time excess of weight is not healthy. Weight should be on lower side only at this time to gain healthy muscles mass and bone ratio.

Weight alone does not determine the state of your health. Stay active and eat regular meals, avoid outside food, avoid oily food and eat lots of fresh fruits.

My age is 23 (male). I have observed that my lower body is increasing abnormally from the age of 15. My hips and thighs r abnormal even till now. I think my fat is getting deposited around my hips and thighs. Sometimes I get very sad if anyone stare at my lower body. I'm thinner till my abdomen but my lower body makes me embarrassed. Is this because of less amount of testosterone? Am I having high oestrogen levels? And my facial hair is very very less even though i'm 23. Yes obviously it's good for health. As it means you r doing strength training n you have more of muscle mass compared to fat mass. First of all you should change your eating habits like 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Avoid fast foods n fried foods7.take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 8. Drink lot of water9. Everyday preferably sleep on same time 10. Maintain active life style exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gymming etc. Now about point no. 10. You should join a gym for weight training. Do it 2-3 times a week with at least 48 hours in between 2 sessions. On other days you can do cardio exercises. Till lock down do suryanamaskar. for more details you can consult me.

I used to go to gym and exercise prior lockdown. Again I have started gym past 2 weeks and working out. I just want to get back my physique when I was 70-72 kg with low fat and muscles. Now its 77 kg and my tummy is out and cheek are chubby. I want to get back to the original me when I was having good and fit physique by november 23. Note: I have never taken any supplements like protein powder please suggest me the diet or do you think I need to take supplements? Hi lybrate-user, 1) I don't think your required supplement to reach your previous weight from your current weight (5-7 kgs difference). 2) target for 70 kgs 3) modify your eating habits, sleep, meal timings, stress level, fluid intake etc to lose weight 4) take protein and fibre-rich foods sources for all three main meals. 5) reduce your carbs intake dm for customized diet.
