Hello. Yes definitely exercise will help you reduce belly fat. Avoid fatty foods, bakery products, alcoholic drinks. Butter,cakes, cookies, pastries, pies. Candy, chocolates, nuts. Creams, cheese. French fried potatoes, jams, cut down on salt and sugar. Eat from a small plate. Do not skip meals – else being hungry you will overeat at the next meal. Do not eat while reading, watching tv, video or games, etc. Control your urge to eat excessively. Eat little at dinner. Eat in the same place invariably. Chew your food completely, never gulp it. Do not eat between meals except raw carrots. Drink 7-10 glasses of water a day. Walk after night meal. Be vegetarian to lose weight. Use skimmed milk instead of full-fat milk. Avoid foods high in saturated fat and cholesterol.

Diet can certainly help. Try small nutrient dense foods during the day like Rotis with paneer bhurji, oats, chila with curd, milk shakes, dryfruits, milk desserts etc. Have light dinner like khichdi, Dalia, soups etc, Drink hot spicy soups if you can tolerate them. Drink plenty of liquids. Have vegetables and salads with meals. include fruits, Hot ginger pepper tea after meals is beneficial.

Hi lybrate-user. 48 kg is not much for 5'3 height. Ideally it should be 50 to 55 kgs. Irrespective of age or height everyone of us should have a habit of physical activity or exercise to have good weight that is muscle n bone weight and minimum fat weight. Weight is not complete indicator and do not get influenced my models, actresses and media they are inculcating unrealistic thiness and body images in impressionable minds. Just remember 5 habits to keep you fit and not thin or fat! 1. Exercise 5 days a week 2. Eat moderately junk food. 3. Eat plenty of natural food 4. Manage stress well - add meditation/ hobby 5. Have a quality sleep.

No need to take liv 52. Also what supplements are you taking. What exercises are you doing in gym, for how much time n how many days a week. Take any seasonal fruit 15-20 mins before starting exercises. And take a banana n whey protein within 10 mins of finishing your exercises. You need to take whey protein (by whatever name it comes). But it should contain 80% whey protein in it. E.g. For 30 gms it should have atleast 24 grams (80%) of protein.) use it only on the day you gym (within 10 mins of exercise). Dose is 30gms.
