I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
During a mumps outbreak, people who have been vaccinated can still get the disease. This is especially true if you didn't receive both doses of the vaccine. However, the symptoms and complications are much less severe in people who are vaccinated compared with those who aren't.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Recovery in old age is a bit prolonged, specially with viral diseases like mumps.
Let her rest for few more days. Get here tested for antigen of mumps like she was diagnosed earlier. Test may not be negative but you can compare with previous reading.
Light work only plus high protein simple digestible food plus any pain killer like maftal which will reduce swelling also.
Do get back with reports of mumps test plus cbc for anemia and other infections.

Because mumps is a virus, it doesn't respond to antibiotics or other medications. However, you can treat the symptoms to make yourself more comfortable while you're sick. Take over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen, to bring down your fever.
