Hi Lybrate user.
People with diabetes have shoulder pain and stiffness (frozen shoulder) more commonly than those without diabetes. And your blood sugars are well controlled. Even if it related to diabetes, you should seek help from orthopedic surgeon so that condition can be treated early and you don't develop irreversible damage to your shoulder.

Your have not mentioned since how long you are having diabetes and whether your blood is controlled or not.

At first control your sugar level n maintain it. You can take protein diet such as pulses, cheese, soya n white part of egg. Gradually increase the protein diet. So that there is no increase in urea n creatinine level. Do mild exercises also.

Mr. lybrate-user Kumar, Thanks for the query.
Any protein supplement that contains least amount of carbohydrate or nil carb is better. There are quite a few preparations giving 60 to 80% protein, low fat and almost nil carbs, You can select any one of those. Whey protein is a good supplement. Even soy protein is also good. Thanks. Thanks.

Spirulina is definitely good for health. But no super food alone can help us. We need to make lifestyle changes, have wholesome food in right quantity and at the right time. Look into food, exercise and sleep all these changes help us get rid of lifestyle disorders and diabetes is also a lifestyle disorder and is reversible.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
A diabetic person can take amino acid supplement. Basically it is protein supplement. I do not understand the relationship between protein supplement and hormone deficiency. ED is a commn complication seen a person with diabetes, when the disaease is not well controlled or when it is present for a long time (10 plus years). Strict glucose control is primary requirement, plus certain medications may help. Thanks. Thanks.

I am not in favour of any any artificial supplements and suggest you to give him protein in natural form like milk etc.
