consuming protein supplements is fine for a diabetic person. But most of the protein supplements contain a good amount of sugar in the preparation. That is not necessary. If you pick up a preparation free of carbohydrate then it is ideal.

Drink some bitter gourd juice on an empty stomach each morning. First remove the seeds of two to three bitter gourds and use a juicer to extract the juice. Also, you can include one dish made of bitter gourd daily in your diet.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
These so called protein supplement including the one referred, give only small quantity of protein and contain a good deal of carbs. There is no point in wasing money on such products. If you are looking for extra protein supplement then eggs are a better choice. In case you are a pure vegetarian then there are many products that give zero carbs available on Amazon with 62 to 80 % proteins, those are better. Thanks.
