गिंको बाईलोबा को जीवित जीवाश्मों में गिना जाता है क्योंकि एक बार ये मान लिया गया था कि ये पौधा विलुप्त हो गया है. लेकिन फिर पता चला कि इसे पूर्वी चीन के झेजियांग प्रांत में स्थित तियान मुशान रिज़र्व में उगाया जाता है. अब इसे पुरे विश्व में व्यापक रूप से संरक्षित करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है.
ऐसा माना जाता है कि इसे चीनी बौध भिक्षुओं ने लगभग 1000 साल पहले उगाया था. तभी से चीन में इसका चिकित्सकीय महत्व प्रचलन में है. गिंको बाईलोबा के बीज और पत्तियों से बना अर्क एक आयुर्वेदिक सप्लीमेंट के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. इसे प्रतिदिन 40 से लेकर 200 मिलीग्राम तक प्रतिदिन लिया अजा सकता है. आइए देखें कि इसके क्या-क्या फायदे हैं.

1. कैंसर में भी फायदेमंद
गिंको बाईलोबा में पाए जाने वाले एंटीऑक्सीडेंट, टेपेरेनोड्स, फ्लेवेनोइड्स और पॉलीफेनायलिक यौगिक मिलकर शरीर के मुक्त कणों को ख़त्म करने में सहायक साबित होते हैं. इस प्रकार ये हमारे शरीर को क्रोनिक बिमारियों जैसे कि कैंसर आदि से बचाता है.
2. अल्जाइमर के इलाज में लाभकारी

गिंको बाईलोबा के नुकसान

1. गिंको बाईलोबा में मौजूद गिंकग्लिक एसिड के कारण कुछ लोगों को इससे एलर्जी की समस्या हो सकती है.
2. ये एक शक्तिशाली हर्बल सप्लीमेंट है इसलिए इसके उपयोग से पहले हमेशा सावधानी बरतें. हो सके तो डॉक्टर से जरुर सलाह लें.
3. इसका प्रयोग गर्भवती महिलाओं, पीरियड्स चल रही महिलाओं और कोई भी ऐसा व्यक्ति जिसे ब्लीडिंग डिसऑर्डर है वो इसे न ले.

Namaste. Main 3 sal se chal phir nahi sakati quiki muze delivery ke samay spine dete wakt ven ko needle lagane ke karan tut gai aur MRI karane pe pata chala blood clot ho gaya hai. Tabhi dusare din mera spin ka operation hua aur 15 dino main right leg ki movement shuru ho gain par "LEFT LEG" main thodi slow movement hone lagi par aab 3 sal ho gain phir bhi ANKLE me movement nahi aai aur main bina support ke chal nahi sakati. To please aapke pas koi upay ho to batayiye main bina support ke chala chahati hun. Thank you.

Hi thanks for writing. Most of the people who come to us have this problem. Weight reduction depends a lot on basal metabolic rate. Your diet should have 3 to 4 low calorie snacking and three light major meals. If you follow this regime and do physical exercise also, then your bmr will increase and you will surely reduce weight. To loose weight one has to persist with a drastic reduction in the intake of carbohydrates, (specially refined sugars) and fats, increase intake of proteins and increase the expenditure of energy by regular exercise. Starving ones self does not work for any length of time and three meals at regular times, eaten slowly is the best method. Avoid snacking between meals, have a good breakfast, moderate lunch and a light dinner. The foods to avoid are sugars, or anything that contains sugar and fat such as bakery products, ice creams, desserts, fried foods (like pranthe, pakore, puris) pizza and potatoes. Rice can be replaced with two chapattis made of multi grain atta. To fill your stomach one should take lots of fruits (papaya, apples, guava) and green vegetables (cucumber, ghia, laoki, teenda, and tori) and sprouted dal. Milk should be double toned. The protein intake should be increased by taking egg white, cooking should be in small amounts of olive / sunflower oil. Vegetarians can use soya bean dal, nutri nuggets and cottage cheese made from double tone milk. The best exercise is jogging or brisk walking for at least 45 minutes, five days a week.

Hi Apple cider vinegar has lot of good effects on the body. It reduces weight, lowers cholesterol thereby reducing risk of heart disease and also has glucose lowering effect hence reduces blood sugar. 2 tsps of apple cider vinegar at bedtime reduces fasting blood sugar. Watch for low blood sugars.

Hello pimple are some times common with the age due to hormonal imbalances. But I am giving you some tips, follow it. * eat turmeric 1 tsp before meal * eat ajvayan 1 tsp & jeera 1 tsp after each meal * avoid sour salty spice food * avoid curd, but take butter milk * use only cow milk & ghee * avoid stress, late sleep, day sleep, oily food, cold water * for local application you can use triphala, yastimadhu, lodhra, nimb powder mix with buttermilk or ointment aclrear or acnowin for local application for better suggestions & medicine, I need detait history like appetite, bowel habits, diet, lifestyle, acidity or gastric trouble? etc. You should take herbal face treatment in nearer ayurveda centre. It will help to remove marks. You can use kumkumadi lepam of nagarjun pharma.

Belly fat is not due to eating less or more. It is due to your body tendency to put on fat around your waist. But there is no such thing called spot reduction, it means you can not lose your weight only around stomach. You have to pay attention to your whole body to be fit and toned. Sometimes stomach also comes out due to digestion problems and too much toxins in your body. Please follow a healthy diet and workout and you will start seeing results. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Panner & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk.

You can include good protein in your diet. Include protein in your major meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can have in the form of curd, paneer, pancakes, chicken / fish / eggs, dal, sprouts etc.

Do take vitamin d fortified milk &milk products. Check food label so to know the fortified milk and products. Can include almond milk in diet. Keep exposure of 15 -20 minutes in gentle sunlight. Can take calciferol sachets weekly to recover the deficiencies.

Dear user avoid fried foods sweets, pkgd foods, colas, juices, ice creams use skim milk n its products if non vegetarian den stick to chicken n fish, avoid red meats use of whole grains n pulses will help you in keeping sugar levels in control root veggies like aloo should be taken in moderation minimize use of fat, use refined oil go for exercise or walk daily try various types of veggies in salad form. Fasting n feasting should be avoided.

7 Do’s and Don’ts of Jogging

Exercises like jogging give great benefits during the cold weather, provided they are done in the correct way. Jogging not only keeps you active throughout the day by increasing your energy level, but also helps you in maintaining your shape even if you consume some extra calories when the weather is relatively pleasant or colder than usual like it is during winters. Read on to find out the do’s and don’ts of jogging.

Do’s

1. Wear thin and loosely woven clothing
Opt for clothes made of thin synthetic material while jogging. This is because this type of material is beneficial in absorbing the sweat from your body. Additionally, you can wear an outer layer of nylon, to ensure that you remain protected from the wind and precipitation, besides maintaining the heat balance of your body. Never wear cotton while jogging as it does not absorb sweat and leaves you with a wet feeling.

2. Cover your hands and feet properly
The heat possessed by your body escapes mostly through your hands and feet (as much as 30% of heat is released by them). So, make sure to cover your hands and feet with running gloves and socks during jogging when the cold is mild, and with mittens when the temperature further decreases. Wear wicking sock liners underneath your woollen socks to soak the moisture generated while running.

3. Maintain your regular fluids intake
Irrespective of the type of weather, your body loses fluids in the form of sweat while jogging. In addition to this, the chilly air of the winter increases the chances of dehydration. So, keep yourself hydrated during, before and after jogging by drinking enough water or sport drinks.

4. Warm up
It is necessary to stretch out a bit before jogging to wake up your tired muscles. So, before starting your daily jogging regime make sure that you get a bit of physical activity.

Don’ts

1. Stay in damp clothes
Getting wet from rain or sweat while jogging on a cold day, increases your chances of developing hypothermia by decreasing the body temperature further. Immediately change your clothes if they are wet and turn on your heater to warm yourself.

2. Overdress
Never dress in a way that makes you feel warm and comfortable before starting to jog. This is going to make you feel warmer as your movements increase, and in turn results in more sweating or discomfort.

3. Forget to cover your head
It may be an astonishing fact, but your body actually loses 40% of its heat through the head. So, never make the mistake of leaving your head bare before stepping outside to jog in the winter. You can wear a hat, woollen cap or a scarf during this time to protect your head.

CAUTION: Jogging at a slower pace is a low impact exercise as compared to running. Research has shown that jogging at slow speed is better than running because of lower impact on foot, ankle, knee and hip joints. However if you have any medical conditions then you should discuss with your medical practitioner to know if jogging is safe for you.

Hi Your fasting is slightly high where as your PP is good. Fbs should be kept within 120. Try to avoid carbohydrates. After 7 pm. Take in lots of salads instead and a protein drink before going to bed. This keeps your fasting sugars within limits. If it's still high then you need dose adjustment.
