Well I am 49 yes old.I am a diabetic for the past 2yrs. I am quite overweight by now. My weight is 85 kg.I am a pure vegetarian. I don't have any bad habits. I lost my business 2 times. It was a huge loss. Moreover now I don't have any business. I am idle right now. It gives lots of stress. Due to overcome stess I just to escape from stress I eat more. Iam finding it difficult to overcome eating more and quite often. I am very irregular in my exercise routine. How can I get weight correct and increase my health? Because of my weight I am having severe knee pain.How can you help me in this situation?

You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. Go for an hour long walk every day. If you don't loose weight soon you will develop high BP. You may need Bariatric Surgery to help you with sustained weight loss. Hy. I was suffering from time to time fever . I realise that in evening I fell weakness and fever also but in the morning I fell that I have not fever . So . Why it is that fever come in evening.

Have small nd frequent meals. Take healthy snacks and food. Take plenty of water in any form.. take plenty of fruit... take paneer, coconut water. Have milk oats , milk porridge.take rest....

Sanjay if you will follow healthy life style then problems can be less and you can keep mentally free life..Go for natural, organic foods if you can. Drink plenty of water also, drinking water with lemon is cleansing and healthy for you. Avoid things like soda, diet soda or any drinks, artificial colors and sweeteners, white flour, overly processed foods, fast food, etc Your morning breakfast starting should be from oatsmeal..its best for healthy fit... one or two fruit should be consume daily. pulses curd paneer etc high protein diet are very good for being fit... U shuld take proper 7 to 8hr sleep in night.. consume high fibre diet.. ur diet shuld be rich in fruits and vegetables... Avoid junk foods...Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week.

Hello, Taking mixed sprouts which some clear soups will help you. Mixed flour rotis with high water content vegetables cooked in minimal oil will also work well. Include salad plates for each meals.

Hello Lybrate user, Try these techniques: 1. Try to get full sleep. Take at least six hour rest for refreshment and relaxation of your mind. A fresh mind can concentrate more easily. 2. Take regular exercise. Brain takes its nutrients from blood for functioning properly. Physical exercise speeds up blood circulation to brain and brain gets well nourished as well as brain gets rid of waste products. Physical exercise is necessary for enhancing power of concentration. 3. Study in a place with no or less distractions. Your study place should be free from such things which may absorb your attention, i. E television, music, changing color bulbs, maps etc. Similarly study in quiet place free from sound distractions. 4. Avoid multi-tasking. While you study avoid playing with other things. Like you study as well as texting to friends on cell phone or making hair styles or one eye on television and one eye on book. Similarly study one subject in one time. 5. Have free mind. Throw off your mind all the irrelevant thoughts while you study. If you are obsessed by a certain idea, try to find a solution to your problem first. Stress makes it difficult to concentrate. 6. Fixation of priorities. Fixation of priorities, what should be done first and what should be done next, is very important for having full concentration in your work. If you don’t fix your priorities and work haphazardly, it is more likely you start thinking while doing one task “shouldn’t I do the other task first as that is more important”. This thought will not let you work with concentration. Make time-table for your subject and follow it. 7. Take short breaks in long study. If you study for a long time, you get bore and can’t maintain concentration on work. You should refresh your mind by taking short breaks to maintain your concentration on study. 8. Have interest in your study. Lack of motivation and interest leads to boredom and dividend attention so develop your interest in your studies. 9. Have good breakfast. Your breakfast should contain items with high protein content, carbohydrates and low sugar content. When you get up from sleep, have good diet though normally you should take light diet. 10. Don’t take too much tea or coffee. Tea or coffee has caffeine that gives you more strength for sometime but soon leaves you sluggish. 11. Concentration Exercises. There some exercises which improve your power of concentration i. E. Yoga, self-hypnosis, looking at a round spot on wall with full attention etc. There are books on these things you can study.

Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months and for loosing weight few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast , khaari ,naan ,white bread . can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water

Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

Control fat intake, do exercise to reduce. Control t. S. H. You should always tell about the details of investigations then only some further advice can b given but still sugar and tsh if not done. As far as penile pain or stretching difficulty is concerned could b due to sugar or more pubic fat or infection.

- The best solution for Weight loss is Simple Diet + Daily exercise. - Add more Fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. - Double your water intake. One glass every hour. - Cut down Oils/Sugar/Maida/Ghee from your diet. - Cut down Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice. - Eat slowly and mindfully. Take 1600 calorie diet daily. - Reduce portion size. Take small bits of food in your plate. - Exercise daily - 'Intense' Cardio for 40-60 mins. - Reduce socialising/company of people who are addicted to junk food and overeating. - Love yourself and respect your body.

Hi - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.
