Yes sex can be practice during pregnancy. After 5 months of pregnancy one needs to change the position of male partner. Intercourse can be practiced in male standing position or sideways position. Male partner should not lie on the tummy or growing fetus.

Hi
My wife period is not properly lest two year .she is period come only one day .small Quantity.
As the periods come on proper time but the amount of menstrual flow is very low and do not last for 2-3 days. It means that your hormones that control the the periods (menstruation) have normal cycle but the amount of hormones are less than normal that's why the flow is scanty. *for normal & adequate menstrual flow get up early in the morning and take a fast walk for atleast 15 -20 minutes. If you can run, then run atleast for 3-5 minutes. * practice bhujangasana (cobra postion) & pawanmuktasana everyday only under the guidance of yoga expert. * check out your thyroid profile & in case of abnormal reports get the proper treatment of it. * monitor your weight & if you are overweight then do more physical activities & change lifestyle to reduce the weight so that the peroids get normal. * eat more green leafy vegetables & avoid fast foods having high refined starch & fat. * you can take dashmoolarisht for your scanty periods only under the supervision of ayurvedic doctor. It can make your hormones level normal and make your periods regular.

I had sex with 2 girl without protection yesterday I had sex with my wife i am very scared can I diagnose with hiv or hiv western bolt what is that western bolt? How hiv occur how its effect on body? Shall I now sex with my wife in future?

If the two girls are commercial sex workers, then you must be on guard. Unprotected sex with any unknown partner can be a high risk activity and may result in transmission of hiv infection. As per your saying, you had unprotected sex with 2 girls and also had sex with your wife, this act of yours is very irresponsible one. When a person comes in sexual contact with a hiv infected person, the hiv virus can enter the body. Hiv virus is intracellular virus, it needs a cell to multiply body immunity helps in fighting the hiv virus and can keep the virus destroyed, unless the virus has multiplied in vast quantities and has damaged the" protective" white blood cells. This takes time. If the infection is well controlled then the elisa will be negative. That a person is free from hiv, can be said with confidence only after 2 elisa tests 6 months apart, and both being negative. The earliest marker is hiv viral load. This is in the first weeks after infection (usually from 1 to 6 weeks after exposure). A high viral load is related to seroconversion symptoms. The first hiv protein (antigen) that can be measured is p24 (from 2 to 8 weeks after exposure). Viral load and p24 tests are not accurate for diagnosing early hiv if the results are negative. An hiv antibody response can be detected as early as two weeks in a few people and in more than 99.9% of people by 12 weeks. An antibody test at 4 weeks will detect 95% of infections. Antibody testing at 4 weeks can give you a good indication of your hiv status, but you need a test at 12-24 weeks after the exposure to be considered hiv negative. All this will matter if those 2 girls were hiv positive! if they are negative, there will not be any chances of you or your wife getting hiv also, it would be better to abstain from sex with your wife or anybody for the next 6 months or if that is not possible, then a condom with a spermicidal coating is the best option.

My menstruation cycle are irregular. Is it because I smoke and drink? Does this affect the cycle?

My menstruation cycle are irregular. Is it because I smoke and drink? Does this affect the cycle?
It is not related to smoking but drinking definitely increases weight which is related to irregular menses. Still you r likely to be suffering from pcod. Unless you reduce your weight menses r not going to come normal. Primary objective of your treatment is weight reduction and maintain normal BMI of 18-25. This will regularize the monthly cycles and also help you get pregnant. You can take Metformin to reduce weight. You don’t need to take any medicine till 3 months for the menses to come. Only after 3 months of missed menses you should take medicines like progesterone Tablet (Deviry 10 mg twice a day for 5 days) for getting menses. For reducing your weight you should have brisk walk or jogging for 4-5 km daily, high protein diet (fish, chicken, mutton without fat, pulses, mushrooms), low carbohydrate diet (avoid rice, chapatti, bread, poha, upma, idli, dosa, potato, sugar etc and can use bhakri instead) and low fat i. E. Less oil and preferably use rice bran oil.

All About Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

MBBS, MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology

Ask Free Question
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) is a common infection in the female reproductive organs like the ovaries, the uterus and the fallopian tubes and also the inside of the pelvis. If left untreated for a long time, PID can lead to severe problems like pregnancy complications, infertility and cancer.

Cause

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) like chlamydia and gonorrhea produce vaginal bacteria which travel to the interior organs and cause PID. Having unprotected sexual contact with someone who has an STD is the most common cause of PID. Moreover, medical processes like abortion, miscarriage, childbirth, insertion of contraceptive devices can also lead to bacterial infection. Having sex with a number of people, or having sex before the age of 20, or having had an STD in the past, also increase the chances of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

Symptoms

The disease may show only minor symptoms or it may not show any symptom at all. When it does, the common symptoms are pelvic pain, discomfort while urinating or having intercourse, difficulties with menstruation and unusual fluid discharge from the vagina.

Associated symptoms

High fever, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, exhaustion, shivering and fainting.

Diagnosis

A pelvic examination is conducted to check for abnormal bleeding from the cervix (the opening of the uterus), fluid discharge or severe pain in the uterus, fallopian tubes or in the ovaries. Swabs taken from the cervix and the vagina are tested for STDs or other possible bacterial infections that may cause PID. An ultrasound or a Computerized Tomography (CT) scan is conducted to make sure that the symptoms are not being caused by other disorders like appendicitis or other kinds of infection in the reproductive organs. A pregnancy test is also done to take the necessary precautions to protect the fetus from the adverse effects of the infection.

Treatment

The treatment procedures of PID vary depending on the type of bacteria that caused the infection in the specific case. Antibiotic medication is used to treat the condition. In case of severe complications, the patient has to be hospitalized.

First of all I wud like to advice you usg whole abdomen and hormonal study. There are many allopathic medicine to stop bleeding like texakind mf and ethamsylate. You may take any of them to stop loss of blood. Start with raktapradarantak ras 250 mg twice a day with water. Pushyanug churna 5 to 7 gm twice a day with rice water. If you feel any problem, stop medicines and consult me again with investigation reports for ayurvedic management and diet plan.

Hi Doc, I am 25years and I suspected I might be pregnant so as a home remedy I had ripped papaya along with 10-12 seeds. Now I have a brown discharge. I thought it was old blood. But it doesn't smell anything. And I am not getting any periods. Just on wiping the brown discharge. Please suggest. I am not in a situation to take any lab test or consult a doctor.

If you r suspecting pregnancy then you can do home urine pregnancy test. Brown discharge can be considered as menses if pregnancy test is negative. Hormonal changes can bring this kind of menses.

Usg is normal, that's fine. But as you are already 37, we have little time. So, we have to start at the urgent basis- we need to check both of the husband and wife to detect where the exact problem lies, so that we can correct it by the earliest. If no disease is found or when the disease cannot be corrected within short period, we have to bypass it by various methods. Don't give up hope.

Hello- your wife symptoms suggest that she might be suffering from pcod and due to this she might be facing certain problems like, irregular menses, unwanted hair growth, weight gain. Pcod delay ovulation and hence it might affect her motherhood too. >don't go for allopathic treatment like metformin etc. As it will further increase your weight and will create a hormonal imbalance in her body. These cysts occur due to improper diet and schedule done specially during menstrual bleeding period. Try this safe and effective ayurvedic treatment- a) kuberaksha vati 1 tab twice. B) tab hyponidd 1 tab thrice c) fal sarpi 1 tsp twice before meals. D) go for basti panchakarma by your nearby ayurvedic doctor.
