I want food supplement for weight gain without heavy workout. Can you recommend me some good product.
To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects

Flat foot at times causes pain. But we must rule out other causes as well rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. It may have to be further investigated do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. You must have x rays of your feet done. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Heat in feet could be due to some neuropathy.

Follow health advises given below: Measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. Get CBC checked and review with reports consult physician/me for further management and let me know what medicines you were taking and also tell me if you are having other symptoms like cough/ throat pain/ burning urine/ stomach pain so that we can confirm cause of fever.

Hi I am hypothyroid patient 2 months back I am on 75 mcg medicine as my TSH drop down to .006 so I started taking 50 mcg thyronorm but after 6 week my TSH after taking medicine is 12.36 which is too much then refrel range. Kindly suggest how much I Should take now?

lybrate-user, When on treatment for hypothyroidism ideally TSH should be between 3 to 4 mU/L, then all the symptoms are in control. Hence, if TSH level has gone up, then you will have to increase the dose to earlier level and check TSH after 6 weeks. Thanks.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. With no inclination to take medicines try to avoid dusty surroundings, wear a face mask, take good rest for 2-3 days. Try instilling warm salt water in nostrils twice a day for couple of days. If Yoga enthusiast try 'Kapalabhati ' If no relief and fever persists better see your doctor.

Reality Check On Skin Lightening Products - Why Your Own Natural Skin Color is Beautiful?

Skin lightening and brightening products have become extremely popular and are aggressively promoted by film stars, cricket players and fair-skinned models on TV, print and other media. These products promise you not only a lighter and flawless skin but also promote the fact that with this you will be able to get your perfect life-partner and your perfect chosen job! Many of these products do not disclose their exact composition, while some list many chemical names which are simply incomprehensible. However, some of these unregulated products could actually contain ingredients that are beneficial for your skin, but some could be quite harmful:

Therefore, you must keep a check on the following:

  • Many products may contain mercury as a skin lightening ingredient, which is a toxic metal which can lead to brain and kidney damage.

  • Steroids are commonly used in lightening creams and cause permanent thinning of the skin. These chemicals also increase the risk of skin infections, aggravate acne, cause stretch marks, precipitate bruising and make your skin more sensitive and red.

  • Hydroquinone is a prescription product and if used under proper supervision is useful for skin lightening. Unregulated use may cause skin irritation, cataract and unwanted discoloration.

its due to hormonal imbalance Use warm water for drinking,take healthy ,warm food,fresh fruits,dry fruits,take proper rest,sound sleep,do regular exercise, yoga,pranayam. Avoid- chilled water,cold drink, foods kept in fridge,oily,spicy,outside food,water, avoid late night works, travelling ,overexertion during menstruation.
