About Motivyst 300Mg Tablet

Motivyst 300Mg Tablet helps in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Patients who are prescribed Motivyst 300Mg Tablet, are also given a specific diet and advised to exercise regularly.

Known to be a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, Motivyst 300Mg Tablet reduces the quantity of sugar that is absorbed by the body and flushes it out of the system through urine.

The drug should not be used by patients who suffer from type 1 diabetes, or individuals who are allergic to any component that it has. Individuals with high levels of ketone in the urine, or liver and kidney issues should also avoid Motivyst 300Mg Tablet.

Some side effects that have been reported by patients taking this medicine are infection of the vagina, vulvitis, vulvovaginal candidiasis and vulvovaginitis. If any of these side effects continue to persist for a long period of time or tend to become worse, immediate medical help should be sought. Some extremely rare side effects that may occur because of Motivyst 300Mg Tablet intake are development of sensitivity to light and skin discoloration.

The drug should be taken just before breakfast, unless otherwise instructed by the doctor. Avoid missing doses and complete the prescribed course for effective treatment.
