Mala d is an oral contraceptive pill ,has to be taken from first day of period. For unprotected intercourse you have to take emergency contraceptive pill, it has to be taken within 72 hrs of unprotected intercourse.

Withdrawl bleeding comes after certain no. Of days after stopping the hormonal tablet. Withdrawal bleeding is caused by a drop in hormone levels in the body.

All medicines should be taken with plain water. Having said that, I don't think anyone could vouch for the efficacy of a medicine. But it should work. What is the problem?

But there are long acting injectables like lupron depot of various strengths. You could take it under the supervision of a gynecologist to alleviate your severe symptoms. Is mala d is helpful to take after 72 hours of unprotected sex If yes than how many tablet she take.
Mala D is a regular monthly contraceptive for women and it should be taken as per days of cycle as marked on the strip. One should not though miss it but even if it is missed it is advised to take the normal tablet for the marked day
