Hi lybrate-user before stopping your medicine you need to consult the doctor because you should not stop levosulpride suddenly .the dose of the medicine will be reduced the medicine will be slowly stopped.
If you want to change drugs detailed history is needed as medications are different for different conditions. For eg: depression can be treated with other medication like flouxetine, but there will be some reason if your doctor has prescribed lesuride to you.

Lybrate-user: While levosulpiride can be used for stomach acidity, it is not approved for this use. It is actually an anti psychotic medication that can also be used for depression. It is sedating (makes the person sleepy) and increases appetite.
