Usually bleeding stops. But take care that the blood clots inside canal should be cleaned. You can clean ear canal with ear bud dipped in betadine liquid.

Continue acitrom and regularly check pt/ inr levels to ensure adequate dosage.
May have to repeat doppler to check recanalisation of deep veins.
Acitrom may have to be continued for lt least 1 year or maybe life long depending on precipitated/ spontaneous dvt.
Wear compression stockings.

Hello,
are there any other symptoms associated with headache like drowsiness, weakness of part of body etc, basically we will not to rule out any bleeding inside the brain. Bleeding in the brain will be associated with drowsiness and some weakness or some neurologic deficit. If you fear the bleed too much you can stop ecosporin and see and give 1 tab paracetamol for headache. It is also advisable to contact your local doctor who has been advisng you.

Hello it is unlikely that your mom has dvt as she already on blood thinners. It can be a hematoma or ecchymosis due to her blood thinners. Stop the blood thinners and do a complete blood count and a coagulogram.
