HBV DNA levels above 1 lac demand oral treatment with entacavir....
also if the liver enzymes are raised 3 times (sgot/pt)....
but whether ur wife needs treatment or not can be advised on seeing her liver function tests reports....also whether she has any yellow discoloration of eyes or not etc

b) transfusion of infected blood,
c) dialysis, contaminated syringe/needle/skin pricks/tatooing,
d) sexual contact with infected person, homosexuality e) from infected mother to un born child (foetus)
in your case there is no possibility. As a precaution you can test your blood for hepatitis b
