Desrina 50Mg Tablet Er belongs to a group of medicines called the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It is used to treat major depression symptoms of which may include feelings of sadness, decreased energy level, loss of interest in daily activities or trouble sleeping. These symptoms last for two weeks or longer. This anti-depressant may improve your mood, energy level and feelings of well-being. It works by helping to restore the balance of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain. Desrina 50Mg Tablet Er comes in the form of an extended-release tablet you take by mouth. This drug slowly releases into the body over time.

The possible side effects of using Desrina 50Mg Tablet Er are :

  • Seizure (convulsions)
  • Agitation, headache, hallucinations, trouble concentrating, fever, weakness, fast heart rate, overactive reflexes, nausea, memory problems, vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of coordination

  • You are taking a fenfluramine derivative, nefazodone, sibutramine, or tryptophan
  • You are taking another medicine that contains venlafaxine or desvenlafaxine
