Dear doctors, I'm a 27 years old guy. I never make blood donation because I was on a long term treatment of carbamazepine following an accident. My question is: if I don't give blood, will something occur in my body?

Hi No, nothing will occur in your body because of this reason. It is recommended but not compulsory. Blood donation helps in reducing the risk of heart and liver ailments caused by iron overload in the body that by the process of blood donation are maintained at healthy levels. These heart or liver related ailments can be avoided by indulging into a healthy diet and lifestyle too.

you can go for a percutaneous baloon decompression which is done on day care basis or a surgery known as micro vascular decompression which is very major surgery but i think you should get your medications reorganised and try once more before going for surgery

Hi, it's good your mri is clean. Alot of times such conditions can alter a person's emotional status. Also, the medicines taken for seizures for a long time can also shave such effects. You must consider seeing a psychologist / counsellor for help. If their opinion is that you may require medication, do consider Homoeopathic treatment as it will not affect you adversely and will help you get out of this situation.
