About Budamate 100 Transhaler

Budamate 100 Transhaler is widely used for treating asthma. It may be used in combination with other long-term medicines. It is also used for preventing breathing problems caused by exercise. It is also used for long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Budamate 100 Transhaler is a long-acting beta-agonist bronchodilator. It widens the airways in the lungs which in turn helps you breathe more easily.

If you are allergic to milk protein or to any ingredient in Budamate 100 Transhaler, do not use it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes, low blood potassium levels, heart problems, blood vessel problems, high blood pressure, an adrenal gland tumour, seizures, or thyroid problems. Some medicines may interact with the action of Budamate 100 Transhaler. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines.

Some of its common side effects are dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mild sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, nausea, stomach pain or upset, nervousness, tiredness tremor and trouble sleeping.

Continue to use this medicine even if you feel well for as long as it has been prescribed. Try to not miss any doses. If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

    How does this medication work?

    Budamate 100 Transhaler has bronchodilatory properties and works by selectively binding to beta-2 adrenergic receptors in bronchial smooth muscles. This results in the activation of intracellular adenyl cyclase which catalyses the conversion of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to cyclic-3'',5''-adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and leads to bronchodilation.
