Switching from cold water to hot water can do you good. Hot water flushes out the fats from the vessels helping you lose weight easily. Drink hot water before and after your meals regularly, you need to give a gap of at least 30 minutes. Don? t drink water immediately after your meals. See the difference in your body after one month. Using the above remedies will cut down fat in your body and help you gain satisfying results. Along with the mentioned remedies try to add 30 minutes of exercise to your daily routine. Try to reduce the calorie intake and fill yourself with water as much as possible. It is very important to love yourself, do not stress out on being overweight. Be a little conscious while making decisions related to food. Losing weight bit by bit is much healthier than trying to lose it all at once. Be happy, stay fit and enjoy being healthy by using the home remedies for weight loss. Consult me for diet chart any querries inform me.

Kindly show me your all the reports you seem to be suffering fromrheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is a self limiting disease. Acute phase can be managed with medicines. Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities. Keep your moral up! any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. Joint pain is a common symptom with many possible causes. Joint Pain and Arthritis are the one of the most devastating conditions faced by individuals, particularly elderly women today. When there is pure Vata dosha involvement (a pain without swelling or discoloration) then the massage with medicated ayurvedic oil is quite useful & supplement is helpful in balancing bodily humors ?vata, which is responsible dosha for Sandhigata vata . Hell Yes Ayurveda can. The common causes of insomnia is stress of work, family or improper sleep due to work load or other causes. Immediately go for meditation and use saraswatarista 10 ml bd. In starting stage we can manage otherwise it causes other serious disorders. You must revert your feedback. good luck.

Garlic with its multi sided medicinal qualities is also useful for arthritis. Consumption of two to three cloves of garlic work wonder against inflammation leading to aching joints. Besides garlic, ginger is also effective from the point of view of rheumatic arthritis. Consumption of at least thirty to fifty grams of ginger serves to reduce the painful conditions.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
KNEE PAIN- HOW TO TAKE CARE

Wear and tear of body is inevitable. And joints are
the worst affected as we age, out of which the knees rule.

A popping sound with pain in the knee, swelling and inability to
put weight on the leg indicate a knee sprain or a tear. Fractures,
dislocations, cartilage injuries, arthritic changes or bursitis are
painful enough. But how to avoid knee injuries and pain? Knee pain
can improve with some good body mechanics like change in movement,
ergonomics, exercise and care.

1. Never ignore pain. Pain is one of the first warning signs that
something is amiss. After a few days of home treatment if the knee
pain worsens or does not improve it is time to call the doctor!

2. Get rest. Rest is a must if you are a very physically active
person. And all the more so if you are above 30.

3. Weight control is mandatory if your knees hurt. Being overweight
increases your chances of knee pain especially the arthritic one as
the excess load causes the degeneration of the cartilage. You can
try walking or a stationary bike for exercise without traumatising
the joints.

4. Too much of physical activity including strenuous exercises can
cost you your knees. Straining the body on the pretext of
weight loss, a sudden increase in the duration of the activity or a
rapid increase in the intensity are unwise. Always warm up with
stretches and cool down adequately.

5. If you have duck feet (walking with feet turned out) you are
more susceptible to knee pain.

6. Be careful while lifting weights as they are only bad for your
back but also for your knees. Bend carefully putting the knees back
and heels down. Put the weight on your muscles and off your knees.

7. Discard hard shoes but use soft breathing flexible shoes
recommended for the desired activity.

8. Know that some cholesterol lowering drugs, antacids and the like
may cause knee pain.

Knee injuries need not remain forever. Time and rest can heal most
of them and not often do they call for surgeries.

Take care!

Wishing you good health,

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS

Hello, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are multiple reasons for knee pain, it can be due to setting of early degeneration in joint, imbalance in muscle groups around the joint which can lead to softening of knee cap cartilage, besides other reasons. Please tell me duration of pain and what was the initiating factor for it? what medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. I would like to know whether you have got your inflammatory profile done till now and whether calcium and vitamin d testing/supplementation has been done. Also please let me know what all exercises you are doing on a daily basis. Your management will be based on intensive physical therapy of knee muscles, short course of anti inflammatory medications if you have pain, hot water fomentation at home 2-3 time a day, local analgesic spray for local application after fomentation, daily brisk walks for 2-3 km in a day in mornings etc. If you do not improve in 2-3 weeks time, we will get some basic investigations done and take your treatment from there on. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & regards Dr. Akshay kumar saxena consultant orthopaedics fortis hospital, new delhi.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is a chronic inflammatory joint disease which has a genetic predisposition. Since this is a genetically linked disease hence as of now there is no permanent cure for it, but new medications are available which help in disease control. You need a very active lifestyle with intensive regular physical therapy, take adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation you also need to be in touch of a rheumatologist as it needs a long term supervised care. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Patient F 41 suffering with arthritis. Is there treatment in Homoeopathy / can we control by homeopathic medication. Pl. Guide now patient is on Allopathic treatment.

DM - Rheumatology, MD - General Medicine
Rheumatologist, Mumbai
Most prolonged arthritis are really bad diseases which can make you cripple and can kill you also. So stronger allopathic medicines are used which can have side effects. However, if given judiciously they are safe and can be given for more than 20 years under supervision. Homeopathic medicines won't work and can actually let the disease get more sinister. So my advice would be continuing meds if pt is doing reasonably well.
