Olive plants grow mainly in the Mediterranean basin and olive oil is extracted from the fruit. It has a wide range of beneficial uses. It is used as cooking oil, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and fuel. It is also used in soaps and creams. This wonderful extract has worked magic in attaining a healthy living and can also cure you of certain disorders.

Health benefits of Olive Oil: Olive oil is considered as one of the cardioprotective food items. Phenolic compounds present in olive oil works as anti-inflammatory compounds & prevents the development of the cardiovascular disease. Being a great source of vitamin E, olives possess antioxidant properties which neutralise activities of free radicals in the body. This leads to a lower risk of colon cancer. Sufficient & regular consumption of olives relieve constipation & keeps the digestive tract healthy.
