There are so many products present in the market which will help you to lose weight and they help you to reduce the weight through different processes such as it will reduce your appetite, there is an increase in the burning of calories and sometimes there is a blockage in the absorption of some specific nutrients.

Apart from medicines which are present in the market for the reduction of body weight, there are some natural appetite suppressants also available which can help you to lose body weight very effectively. Some of the natural appetite suppressants are listed below: 

Fenugreek

This is an herb which is a part of the legume family and the most commonly used part of this herb is the seed which is dried and grounded before it is used. 45% of the seed is constituted with fibre which is mostly insoluble, but they also have some soluble fibres present in them as well like the galactomannan. Because of its high fibre content the seeds of fenugreek have so many health benefits like appetite control, reduction in the cholesterol, regulation of blood sugar levels, etc. 

Fenugreek slows down various digestive procedures as there is a delay in the absorption of fat and carbs and this leads to the delay of emptying of the stomach. This will surely decrease the person's appetite and will help him control his blood sugar level more efficiently. This also helps the person to reduce the intake of fat. A person can take or consume about 2 to 5 grams of this for noticing significant change in their weights.

Gymnema Sylvestre

This herb is most commonly known for its anti diabetic properties but you will be overwhelmed after knowing that this herb can help you to lose weight. The gymnemic acid is the active compound of this herb which is effective in controlling or blocking the sweetness of the food or in other words, gymnema sylvestre is very helpful in keeping a person away from sugar cravings as this will decrease the taste of sugar inside the mouth. The gymnemic acid binds itself to sugar receptors present inside the intestine will inhibit the absorption of sugar in the blood and this is how the storage of carbohydrate as fat is avoided and the blood sugar levels are brought down and kept normal. 

The consumption of this seed is also useful in the increase of the excretion of fat from the body and it also makes sure that digestion of fat in our body is blocked. These are to be consumed along with food products as the person would start to experience mild stomach discomfort when he consumes it on an empty stomach. You can consume this either in the form of a powder and the amount will be around 2 to 4 grams or you can take it as a tea by boiling the leaves for 5 minutes and then letting it steep for 5 to 10 minutes, then drinking it.

Increase the intake of healthy fats and proteins in your diet

Eating more protein and healthy fats can reduce cravings and suppress appetite significantly. A person can replace some carbohydrates with proteins and consume healthy fats to reduce their cravings.

Drink an adequate amount of water before you start eating

By drinking enough water before a meal the person starts to feel full and this helps them to control their will of eating and make them feel satisfied and less hungry after a meal.

Increase the amount of fibrous food items in your diet

Consumption of food which is rich in fibre slows down the digestion process and keeps people full throughout the day and for a long period of time. Fibres do not break easily in the body so they stay for a long time, thus keeping us away from munching every now and then.

Do exercise before a meal

It is also a healthy and effective way to suppress appetite. It is studied that appetite is suppressed quickly after doing exercises before a meal (high-intensity workouts). 

Consume bulky and low calorie food items

While dieting people reduce the intake of general food which has a rapacious appetite. Low in calories food items include: fruits, beans and whole grains. They also stop in the person's stomach and help in burning more calories. 

Avoid or take very less stress

In research, it is found that stress increases the desire to eat junk food and also non-nutritious food. Eating due to stress, anger or sadness can increase consumption of binge food. 

Caralluma fimbriata

This is a traditional herb which is used for the suppression of diet and this is also known for increasing the endurance of a person. The compounds which are present in caralluma fimbriata enhance the circulation of serotonin to the brain and this is very helpful in reduction of the carbohydrate intake in our body which ultimately helps us suppress the appetite. This herb does not have any kind of side effects on the person consuming it and the person should consume around 500 mg of this two times a day at least for a month.

Extract of the green tea

This has been very effective in the process of weight loss of a person and apart from weight loss it has many other health benefits associated with it as well. Green tea contains caffeine and catechin which are the two major and important components responsible for the process of weight loss of a person. The appetite is suppressed and the process of fat burning becomes rapid due to the presence of caffeine, because caffeine is a stimulant where catechin, in particular the epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is known popularly for its property of boosting the metabolism of a person and reducing the fat content as well. 

The effectiveness and efficiency is noticed very easily when a combination of these catechin and caffeine is used and this combination is easily present in green tea which implies that green tea is very helpful in weight loss and gives significant results upon consumption. The quantity of green tea that a person should consume on a daily basis falls between the range 250 to 500 mg.
