Acne is one of the most common problems which we deal with everyday. Irrespective of gender it is a very common problem with teenagers. As we all know that the skin is a very essential organ of our body  and it depicts everything about our health. So the way your skin looks defines how you are from inside.

If your skin is not doing well, that means there is definitely something wrong going deeper in your body and we need to look at it that way. All of us think that using wrong creams etc are only a cause of acne. Yes, that may be a problem but a lot of it is caused by your internal health.

The most irritating thing about acne is that they leave scars on the face. So in this article we are going to share some tips to deal with acne Scars naturally–

1- The most important cause of acne is weak immunity. And immunity, about 70 percent, is in your stomach. So it is very important to have a healthy stomach. Eliminate all the inflammatory foods which can damage your gut and cause inflammation or increase toxicity in your body. Avoid spicy and fried and processed foods because we all know they damage our gut. They are a burden on the liver and do not let our digestive system to perform well. 

2- Eating natural and unprocessed foods which do not contain any additives and preservatives, including a lot of fruits in your diet and most importantly including greens in your diet as they are best friends of the skin. Greens have all the minerals that your skin needs.

3- Hydrating your body is very important. So drink at least 3-4 litres of water everyday. Drink coconut water as they contain electrolytes and are best for hydrating the body. Avoid tea and coffee as they are diuretics and dehydrate your body and ultimately lead to skin dehydration. You can take herbal tea and lemon water for refreshing as they are completely natural.

4- Exercise of the facial muscles is very important. We move our face while eating, speaking, smiling etc but there are certain muscles in our face which don't move. So the lymph nodes get stagnant. When you move them, the bacteria which is trapped in it gets a chance to move out. Otherwise they result in acne which will further leave scars on your face.

5– Use of Aloe Vera gel on your scars can help reduce the darkness of the scars. It is very good for moisturising the skin and helps in prevention of many skin problems. Also, it doesn't have any side effects and is the best thing you can ever get.

6– Coconut oil contains omega fatty acids and it moisturises your skin from deep inside. It helps in restoring the lost glow of the skin. Massage it onto the scars every day. However it should not be used in large amounts as it can lead to guru breakouts.

7– Lemon can be considered as a gift of god when it comes to lighten the scars of acne. It has the properties which help in healing of the scars. You can just cut the lemon and apply it directly on the scars but keep in mind that lemon makes the skin sensitive and ensure application of sunscreen of at least SPF 20 before going out in the sun otherwise it will worsen your scars.

8– Honey has been used from ancient times to treat skin problems. It is because of its moisturising and healing properties. It helps in rejuvenation of the skin. It helps in clearing the scars and maintaining the skin smooth and clear. 

9– Apple Cider vinegar has also been known to clear acne marks and should be applied to the scars after diluting it.

10– Turmeric has been known for its medicinal properties and has been used as antiseptic for a very long time. It contains a compound which has anti-inflammatory properties and also helps in reducing the production of melanin which further helps in lightening the scars.
