My wife is having heberden node on her index finger. Her ra test is normal. The node has gone little reddish on one side. There is no pain at all. The orthopedic doctor has diagnosed it as heberden node. My question is can herberden node develop on only one finger? She has no other symptoms of osteoarthritis.

They most commonly develop on the joints nearest to the fingertips and can cause the fingers to appear crooked. Heberden's nodes only develop in people who have osteoarthritis
Yes it may be, If you are interested for homeopathy to be naturopathy treatment call back.
Your finger pain can be due to various reasons our suggestion would be to do warm water bath to relieve from pain. If the pain doesn't subside please do ice therapy to reduce the inflammation from the finger.
