Rotane 75Mg Tablet is specifically used to treat gastric disorders especially ulcers, acid reflux and excessive erosion of the oesophagus by gastric acid secretion. It may be classified as an antacid, ant-reflux or anti-ulcerant drug

The dosage depends upon the age, weight, medical history of the patient, health conditions and the response to the therapy.

Most of the drugs are contraindicated in patients who have suffered or are suffering from cardiac disorders, lungs or liver disorders or renal malfunctioning. In such cases, immense precaution is required in the determination of the dosage. Take proper medical help in case you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy any time soon or breastfeeding. Is It safe with alcohol?
Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.

Precaution should be taken in patients with underlying liver disease as this drug is metabolized in the liver.
