dry mouth is a side-effect of Starpress xl which is metoprolol and it is not going to harm you. But it is a very good medicine for your heart, so should continue your medicine, if it bothers you too much you can ask your doctor to change the XL version to a simple version. So nothing to panic or worry.

In continuation to my earlier question I have been asked to mention my sugar level. Last tested one week back the fasting was 131 and the pp was 165. Sugar has been detected a month back. My coloeatrol level was little on higher side. So I have been advised to take Razel A-150 after dinner for 2 months. As I have already mentioned for diabetic I am taking Zita plus. The leg is swelling for past one month.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the details. As I had written Zita Plus does not cause swelling of feet. It could be due to high BP or kidney involvement. Blood glucose level appears in good control, even though fasting has to be closer to 100 mg. You may have to check kidney functions and also thyroid test. Thanks.
