Novoroid 25Mcg Tablet is a medication that treats thyroid hormone deficiency including its severe form known as myxoedema coma. It may also be used to prevent and treat thyroid tumours.
Side effects from excessive doses include trouble tolerating heat, weight loss, sweating, trouble sleeping, anxiety, tremor, and fast heart rate. Stop using this medicine and consult a doctor if these side effects do not go away.
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in Novoroid 25Mcg Tablet, do not use it. You are advised to use precautionary measures before taking this medicine if you have a thyroid disorder, diabetes, heart disease, anaemia, osteoporosis, adrenal gland disorder, coronary artery disease, problems with your pituitary gland or a history of blood clots.
Novoroid 25Mcg Tablet is taken by mouth or given by injection into a vein. The dosage is determined by your doctor. This medicine works best on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast. Maximum effect from a specific dose can take up to six weeks to occur. Consult your doctor in case you face any problems.
