About Juliana 0.02 Mg/0.15 Mg Tablet

Juliana 0.02 Mg/0.15 Mg Tablet is a contraceptive which is used for prevention of pregnancy. This medication is not recommended for the patients who are below 18 years of age. It is recommended not to take Juliana 0.02 Mg/0.15 Mg Tablet if you are allergic to desogestrel, ethinyl estradiol, estrogen products, or undiagnosed vaginal bleeding or heart and blood vessel disorder.

    How does this medication work?

    Juliana 0.02 Mg/0.15 Mg Tablet is a combination of Ethinyl Estradiol and Desogestrel. The former constituent is a semisynthetic estrogen which enters the cells and binds to the estrogen receptors and forms a complex that enters the cell nucleus and bind to the DNA. This activates the DNA transcription of genes that are involved in estrogenic cellular responses. The latter constituent of the medicine is progestin medication that is commonly found in birth control pills. The drug enters the cell passively and binds to the progesterone receptors found in the nucleus. This affects the gene transcription process.
