This medication is composed of bromelain, rutin and trypsin. It is used as a nasal decongestant for inflammation of the sinuses and hay fever. The tablet is also used for inducing muscle contractions, muscle relaxation, slowing clotting and for pulmonary edema.

The medicine is usually taken between meals, so as to prevent it from meddling with the digestive system. It is important to stop taking the medication about two weeks before any surgery as it can potentially cause bleeding.

The tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to its component. This medication may interact with certain antibiotics and anticoagulants, and therefore it is important that you alert your doctor if you are taking any of these medications. Some of the side effects caused by the tablet include stomach and intestinal discomfort and diarrhea.
