Dejac-T Tablet is primarily prescribed to adult men to treat premature ejaculation. This medication effectively helps in relaxing the muscles that are present in blood vessel walls, thus successfully increasing the flow of blood to certain areas in the body.

The tablet is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence. It also helps against benign prostatic hypertrophy, pulmonary arterial hypertension and increases the capacity to exercise in both men and women.

This medication is composed of Tadalafil and Dapoxetine. Tadalafil relaxes the smooth muscles by inhibiting Phosphodiesterase type-5. This results in the increase of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which relaxes the smooth muscles and increases the flow of blood. Dapoxetine is the first drug that has been formulated specifically to treat premature ejaculation. Even though the exact mechanism of action is not known, physicians suspect that it acts by inhibiting the serotonin transporter.
