Cepodem 50 MG Suspension are used for treating mild infections caused by bacteria. Most commonly, it is used to treat infections like bronchitis, urinary tract infections, infections that develop in the ear, throat, or nose, and gonorrhoea. It treats these infections by not the bacteria from growing further. This medication is available as a tablet and syrup too, and is generally taken with 12 hours intervals. It can be taken for anywhere between 5 – 14 days, depending on the severity of one’s infection.

Cefpodoxime can have side effects that are minor and go away on their own, as well as major side effects. The minor side effects of Cepodem 50 MG Suspension include gas, jealousy, abdominal pain, vomiting and nausea. As your body gets accustomed to it, the side effects subside on their own.
