About Bromex Gt 50 Mg/1.25 Mg/4 Mg Syrup

Bromex Gt 50 Mg/1.25 Mg/4 Mg Syrup is used to reduce chest congestion caused by the infections, common cold or allergies. Being an expectorant, it works by loosening congestion in your throat and chest, making it easier to cough out through the mouth.

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. It is not recommended for use in children younger than 4 years old. It is also advised to not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor about your health condition and current medications. You should get medical help immediately if you experience any signs of severe allergic reactions such as difficult breathing, hives, swelling of your tongue, face, lips or throat. Less serious Bromex Gt 50 Mg/1.25 Mg/4 Mg Syrup side effects may include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headache, a rash or stomach upset.

The dosage for children and adults is different and is determined by the doctor based on your medical condition. The recommended dose for adults is 200 to 400 mg, taken orally every 4 hours as needed. Maximum dose for a day should not exceed 2.4 gm/day.
