A fluroquinolone, Bazostar 100 MG Tablet enjoys the advantages of being less toxic and more effective than its counterparts belonging to this specific cluster of drugs. This medicine functions by thwarting the enzyme ‘gyrase’ that is the main reason behind the bacterial DNA synthesizing.

Bazostar 100 MG Tablet should be administered orally. Among patients suffering from chronic prostatitis, the dosage should be about 200 mg daily. This drug is primarily used to remedy uncomplicated UTIs. However, pregnant women and nursing mothers should talk to their doctor before consuming this medicine as it might involve contraindications. Caution should be exercised with people suffering from acute kidney failure or those who are hypersensitive to the group of quinolones. It is advised to discontinue its use immediately should you experience shock symptoms after using the drug. Often, hyperglycemia is reported as well.

This drug entails a few side effects such as dizziness, increased thirst, heartburn, nausea, indigestion, fever, abdominal or stomach pain, headaches, anorexia and palpitations. Combining this drug with other minerals or vitamins and products that contain aluminum or magnesium is strictly advised against.

Avoid taking Bazostar 100 MG Tablet if you have a known allergy to this medicine or any other medicines belonging to the class fluoroquinolones.
Tendinitis or tendon rupture
Avoid taking this medicine if you have a past history of tendinitis or tendon rupture after taking this medicine.
Avoid taking this medicine if you have a past or family history of suffering from Myasthenia Gravis (weakness and rapid fatigue of muscles under voluntary control).
