Arvast 10 MG Tablet is a drug which is used to lower the cholesterol level and triglycerides in the body. It also used to prevent cardiovascular diseases. It belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins”. It is helpful in reducing the need for medical procedures to open blocked vessels. It reduces the blood cholesterol level thus lowering the risk of narrowing of arteries.

Arvast 10 MG Tablet is a drug which is used to lower the cholesterol level and fats like triglycerides. It also used to prevent cardiovascular diseases. It belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins”. It is helpful in reducing the need for medical procedures to open blocked vessels. . It reduces the blood cholesterol level thus reducing the risk of narrowing of arteries. This medication works better, if it is supplemented by a proper diet and regular exercise.

Use of Arvast 10 MG Tablet must be as per directed by the doctor. It is available in oral tablet form. It is also important to take regular dose of Arvast 10 MG Tablet for best results. However if you have missed a dose, don’t try to compensate it by taking an extra dose with the next one. That is extremely harmful to the body. It is harmful to use Arvast 10 MG Tablet if you are suffering from any liver disease. Also pregnant woman or someone planning to get pregnant should not take this drug. You should also consult with your doctor regarding the intake of this drug in case you are suffering from kidney disease or undergoing dialysis. Some other conditions that require the doctor’s clearance are: if you are taking any prescribed medicine or diet supplements; if you have any food or medicine allergies; if you consume alcohol regularly; if you are suffering from any kind of muscle problems; if you have low blood pressure; if you have diabetes etc.

Arvast 10 MG Tablet might also cause certain side effects.The common ones amongst them are constipation, headache, stomach pain, weakness etc. However sometimes it might also cause some severe side effects like allergic reactions, blood in urine, chest pain, severe back pain, symptoms of liver problems like yellowing of skin or eyes etc. If these severe side effects appear, it is necessary to seek medical help right away.

Arvast 10 MG Tablet should be stored at a temperature between 20 to 25 degree celcius. It should be kept away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the drug away from the rech of the children and pets.

Generalized anxiety disorder
Arvast 10 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder which is an illness characterized by excessive worry or tension that disturbs daily life.
Arvast 10 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of depression which is an illness characterized by sadness, loss of interest, irritability, and sleeplessness.
Avoid if you have a known allergy to Arvast 10 MG Tablet or other medicines of the same class (SSRI).
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors
Do not take are taking MAOIs like selegiline, moclobemide with Arvast 10 MG Tablet or within 14 days of stopping Arvast 10 MG Tablet. Also, do not take Arvast 10 MG Tablet within 14 days of stopping MAOIs.
Pimozide
Do not take these medicines together due to the increased risk of QT prolongation.
In addition to its intended effect, Arvast 10 MG Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects. Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the medication.

This medicine is known to excreted in human breast milk. It should be taken only if clearly needed. Monitoring of undesired effects like drowsiness is necessary.

If you miss a dose of Arvast 10 MG Tablet, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.

Use of Arvast 10 MG Tablet with clarithromycin may increase the risk of QT prolongation. Inform the doctor if you experience breathlessness, dizziness after taking these medicines. An alternate medicine should be considered based on clinical condition.
Ketoconazole Major
Use of Arvast 10 MG Tablet with Ketoconazole may increase the risk of QT prolongation. Inform the doctor if you experience breathlessness, dizziness after taking these medicines. An alternate medicine should be considered based on clinical condition.
sulfonylureas Moderate
Arvast 10 MG Tablet may increase the effect of sulfonylureas like Glimepiride. Inform the doctor if you have hypoglycemic symptoms like dizziness, headache, weakness after taking these medicines. An alternative class of medicines or dose adjustments should be made under doctor's supervision.
Diuretics Moderate
Arvast 10 MG Tablet may lower the blood sodium levels if coadministered with diuretics like hydrochlorothiazide or furosemide. Inform the doctor if you may have symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness after taking these medicines. Consider regular monitoring of blood pressure and sodium level.

Treatment depends on the cause of the pain. To rule out cardiac issues. Get a ECG and 2D echocardiography done asap. If they are normal then get a TMT and PFT done This will point out the reason for your problems.
