About Aceclofenac 100 MG Tablet

Aceclofenac 100 MG Tablet is used to treat pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This drug works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes which make chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or damage causing pain, swelling and inflammation.

The side effects of aceclofenac includes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, dyspepsia, drowsiness, confusion, etc. You should not be taking Aceclofenac 100 MG Tablet if you had/are–

  • Allergic to this drug or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
  • A problem with stomach or duodenal bleeding.
  • Heart condition or impaired kidney or liver function.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding woman.
  • High blood pressure or blood clotting problems.

This medication interacts with medicines like lithium, digoxin, corticosteroids, antihypertensives, etc, and certain diseases like asthma, and gastrointestinal toxicity. It can be taken with food or after food.
