About Rasalect 0.5Mg Tablet

This medication is a MAO inhibitor used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, caused by the lack of dopamine in the brain. It works by boosting the level of dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain. The tablet helps by reducing the symptoms of this disease such as shakiness, stiffness and difficulty in moving.

Common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, drowsiness, joint pain, heartburn, nausea, dry mouth, weight loss and stomach pain. If these side effects worsen, contact your doctor immediately.

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Exercise caution if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, liver disease, diabetes and sleep disorders. Also, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
