Uphold Tablet is primarily prescribed to adult men to treat premature ejaculation. This medication effectively helps in relaxing the muscles that are present in blood vessel walls, thus successfully increasing the flow of blood to certain areas in the body.

This medicine relaxes the smooth muscles by inhibiting Phosphodiesterase type-5. It results in the increase of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which relaxes the smooth muscles and increases the flow of blood.
