Developed by Franco-Indian Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, Grilinctus Bm Paediatric Syrup comprises of Terbutaline and Bromhexine which is crucial as a bronchodilator and mucolytic, respectively. It relaxes the muscles around the bronchioles in the lungs.

Then it opens them up and helps the passage of air easily in and out of the lungs. It helps in controlling and monitoring spasms and contractions of the bronchioles which has been observed in bronchitis, emphysema and asthma.

The medicine is usually administered in the form of a syrup. If the patient engages in self-administration at home, then the correct procedure of administration must be learnt and used. Syringes and needles must not be reused.

Grilinctus Bm Paediatric Syrup is known to cause pharmacological effects. Stimulation via beta-adrenergic receptors of the intracellular adenylyl cyclase is provided with the assignment of these effects. The conversion of adenosine triphosphate into adenosine monophosphate is facilitated by the intracellular adenyl cyclase enzyme.
