B Floren Eye Drop is an ophthalmic drug. It is mainly used for eye infections such as bacterial conjunctivitis, infection of the eye membrane or inflammation in the underside of the eyelids causing extreme irritation, watering and redness. It may cause vision problems along with headaches and photosensitivity. The medicine is administered in the form of eye drops and belongs to the fluoroquinolones family of drugs.

The dosage depends upon the medical history of the patient, health conditions and the response to the therapy.

The drug is contraindicated in patients who have suffered or are suffering from glaucoma, cardiac disorders, lungs or liver disorders or renal malfunctioning. B Floren Eye Drop is a bactericidal antibiotic which inhibits key bacterial enzymes, DNA Gyrase and Topoisomerase IV. DNA Gyrase inhibition prevents replication, transcription, and repair of DNA, and Topoisomerase IV inhibition prevents decatenation during cell division. It also stops antibiotic resistance development.
