Burping, also known as belching or eructation, is one of the ways your body expels excessive gas from the stomach.
Although burping is a natural bodily function at times it can be severe due to poor digestion of food, malabsorption, intolerance, ulcers or gastric disorders.
Definitely your diet, lifestyle and stress levels need to be worked on but here are some remedies to help reduce the severity of burping-
▪Have ginger, mint or chamomile herbal tea 2 to 3 times a day.
▪Chew about 2 pods of green cardamom (elaichi) 2 to 3 times a day.
▪Chew 1/2 a teaspoon of fennel seeds (sauf/badisop)
▪Have a cup of buttermilk with a pinch of asafoetida (hing).
