Hi I am 24 years old My height is 5,11 My weight is 115 kgs I tried almost everything to reduce my weight like exercise and diet but unable to reduce my weight So I started taking a pill of garcinia cambogia extract 1500 mg 60%hca pills 2 time each before lunch and dinner After 3 days I started gaining weight now my weight is 117 kg I gained 2 kg with same diet and life style I am afraid of that result .instead of reducing my weight it's gaining What to do now shall I continue or stop that dose? Please suggest me.

Such medicines which promise weight loss will only make you lose money and time, nothing else. Excess weight needs a long term commitment to change food habits and lifestyle. Stop taking all such medicines, supplements, shakes, green tea etc. Stop looking for short cuts because there is no quick path to fitness. Consult a dietitian who can customise a permanent holistic solution for your health. Step by step you can be fit. 1.Work on 1-2 years time horizon to solve your health challenges. 2. Add 2-3 Fruits per day taken 30 mins before meals. 3. ?Eat plain roti/rice with dal with a big bowl of salad in each meal. 4. Cut down Sweets/Biscuits/Colas / Fruit Juice from your diet. 5. Completely eliminate Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice etc 6. Exercise daily - 'Intense' Cardio exercises for 40-60 mins. This will keep you slim and trim.

Hello. I've been using Garcinia cambogia extract capsules for 2 weeks. Its for weight loss. I've read reviews n watch videos regarding this and its proven that this fruit extract has extraordinary results on weight loss. Mine I ordered from amazon from delhi, india.it contains 85% HCA. SO I want to ask is it good for health n can affect me physically. I take 2 capsules a day. One 45 min before from Breakfast and second also 45 min before dinner.Please tell.

Garcinia cambogia helps to imrpove metabolism and curbs appetite. Body gains weight due to different reasons like improper digestion, acidity, constipation, side-effects of some medicine, low physical activity. We provide 1 week diet that will help to reduce weight approx. 3-5 kg in a week. You can incorporate that in daily routine for maintaining weight. You can follow some tips in daily routine. 1. After every meal, drink 1 cup boiling water with spoon sip by sip. After half an hour you have taken meal do this daily. 2. Try to avoid eating heavy food after 7 pm. As it takes time to digest heavy food. 3. Drink 1 glass water half an hour before meal. 4. Drink 2 glasses of lukewarm warm daily in morning. 5. Try to do some exercise. Hye, thanks for the query. Your weight is a balance of calories. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of fruits will make the fats drop. But when it comes to weight loss, it's sensible eating that counts. Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages, and increasing calories burned through physical activity. Understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take smaller main meals. Eat local seasonal foods, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and nuts. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. If your diet is good it will make a difference in your skin and hair health. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     All the so called fad, crash, restricted diets, medications will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, don't forget the bottom line: The key to successful weight loss is a commitment to making indefinite changes in your diet and exercise habits.

Hi Lybrate User, There are no medicines to reduce weight. No pills or no capsules can resolve this. The magic lies in your hands. Everyday when you get up, you make a choice, whether to have healthy food or Junk Food. If you have healthy food, your weight will come down and you will feel better. If you have junk food, your weight will go up, your health will go down and you will feel sick. So make the right choice...everytime and everyday. The solution is in your hands.
