Being an antihistamine, Tuk Tuk Syrup is used to relieve allergy symptoms caused by seasonal allergies, food or blood such as watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or itching eyes or nose. It works by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine that your body makes during an allergic reaction.

It also treats mild, uncomplicated hives. During treatment, you may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision, or dry mouth, nose or throat as side effects.

Some people may also experience serious side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rarely seen. Tuk Tuk Syrup is not prescribed for people who have an allergic reaction to it, women who are breast-feeding, a newborn baby or premature infant, an elderly person, those who have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, a peptic ulcer or bladder, stomach, or bowel blockage.

Tuk Tuk Syrup has many uses, the most important of which is its action as an antihistamine, anticholinergic and local anaesthetic. The mechanism of action for the drug remains uncertain at this point of time, even though some experiments have been performed on rats to determine the same.
