Respira Syrup inhibits the activation of guanylate cyclase which is nitric oxide dependent. It work as a short-acting beta-2 agonist that stimulates beta-2 receptors in the lungs. Also as an expectorant which reduces adhesiveness and surface tension of congealed mucous in upper respiratory tract to increase flow of mucous, stimulating and increasing efficiency of the cilia to remove the accumulated mucous.
