It will not good to say anything with this short description. Just consult with nearby general physician or diabetologist. Because he has the heartattack history and also on the insulin and tablets so do not withdraw medicine suddenly, medicinal withdraw should be gradual by decreasing quantity ,firstly consult with physician for this.

Hello, thanks for the query.
In general it is better to avoid alcohol for a diabetic person. The reason is that it has no nutritional value but provides empty calories. It also blunts hypoglycemic awareness. Once a while a small quantity may be taken. Thanks.

Your blood sugar level is now normal and not low. you may be feeling weak because of drastic improvement in your sugar levels and sudden changes in diet. you can consult your doctor again regarding reduction in the dose of medicines now. also ensure that you drink enough water
Your blood sugars indicate that your glucose control is quite worse. I would suggest to start long acting insulin, e.g. Lantus in your case. Need to know about hba1c as well as renal function tests.
Hi, Lybrate user, your reports are almost normal.
Tk, plenty of water to hydrate your body. Your diet be easily digestible as per the instruction of diabetologist.
You shouldn't hold any of the medicins without instruction of your doctor. Avoid, junk food, alcohol and nicotine. Tk, care.
Fasting blood sugar should be less than 126 and post prandial (after food should be less than 160) ideally. She might need a change in her dose or might need new medications. She needs to be reviewed by the physician.
That being said, if there is a change in her routine i.e. She is getting less excercise or eating in an appropriate way that needs to be addressed.
