Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection

Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor used to relax as well as dilate the blood vessels present in the body. It helps to increase the flow of blood in some parts of the body by relaxing the muscles found around the blood vessel's wall. This injection can be used to cure erectile dysfunction in men. It is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and hence improves the exercising capacity in both men and women.

However, before taking this medication, it is necessary to consult your doctor to check if it is safe for you or not. It is also advisable to take the medication only as prescribed to you. The medicine is usually injected into your body by the doctor in your clinic. You can also take it at home if you are well- trained or acquainted with the proper method of administration.   Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection is used for the treatment of impotence. Impotence is a medical condition in which a person is unable to achieve and sustain an erection during the time of sexual intercourse. The injection only works if there is sexual stimulation.

• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (Pah)

  Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection is given to a patient who has a problem of high blood pressure in arteries that is specifically present in the lungs and right side of the heart. It also helps in improving the exercise capacity of a patient.

• Allergy

  Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection should be avoided if you are allergic to sildenafil related medications.

• Nitrate containing medicines

  Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection should be avoided if you are using any medication that contains organic compound, nitrates.

• Riociguat

  Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection should be avoided if you consume Riociguat, a medication also popularly known as Adempas.

• How long is the duration of effect?

  The effect of this medication lasts for an average of 4 hours.

• What is the onset of action?

  The effect of this medication can be observed within 30 to 120 minutes after being administered to your body. However, the onset of action of medications generally varies from one person to another.

• Are there any pregnancy warnings?

  This injection is not recommended for pregnant women. Doctor consultation is necessary.

• Is it habit forming?

Pulmosil 0.8 MG Injection relaxes the smooth muscles by inhibiting Phosphodiesterase type-5. Due to this, there is an increase of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which relaxes the smooth muscles and increases the flow of blood.
