Paramet 5 Mg/500 Mg Tablet
This medication is used in the treatment of Migraine. It is also used to treat Headache, Fever, Cephalalgia, Gastritis, Joint pain, Cold, Hiccups. This tablet increases the muscle contractions of the upper digestive tract. It prevents feelings of nausea and the tendency to vomit. This medication falls under the category of drugs known as dopamine-receptor antagonists.
The associated side-effects that come with the use of this medication are headache, dizziness, sleeping troubles, drowsiness and restlessness. Major side effects include skin rash, hives, rapid and irregular heartbeat and stiff muscles.
Ideally the dosage for you will be prescribed by the doctor taking into consideration your specifications. Paramet 5 Mg/500 Mg Tablet is available in both tablet and solution form. Usually, the dosage prescribed is four times a day which needs to be taken before each meal and at night before sleeping.

This is an anti-emetic that works by inhibiting gastric smooth muscle relaxation caused by dopamine. It improves the response of the gastrointestinal smooth muscles to cholinergic stimulation, which leads to an increase of gastric emptying into the intestines. This also antagonizes the dopamine D2 receptors in the medulla which prevents nausea and vomiting. It selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. Also, it activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
