About Norflox Tz Lb Tablet

Norflox Tz Lb Tablet is an antibiotic which consists of Norfloxacin, Tinidazole and Lactobacillus. The medicine is primarily used in the treatment of diarrhoea and dysentery which may be caused due to bacterial or amoebic or mixed infections.

Diarrhoea, which is accompanied by frequent, loose and watery stools, is effectively relieved by application of this. Dysentery is an intestinal inflammation, associated with bloody diarrhoea can also be controlled by this medicine when taken under the supervision of a doctor.

Norfloxacin present in the Norflox Tz Lb Tablet mainly inhibits the repair and reproduction of infection-causing bacteria. The presence of Tinidazole enables the medicine to kill the bacteria by having a damaging effect on their DNA.

Lactobacillus is important as it helps to maintain the useful bacteria in our alimentary canal. These bacteria are beneficial in the management of water loss due to diarrhoeal infections or antibiotics.

Norflox Tz Lb Tablet belongs to the category of broad spectrum antibiotics and effectively acts against a wide range of bacteria which may be gram positive or gram negative. There are certain side effects associated with its use including nausea, headache, cramps in abdomen, vomiting, dry mouth and dizziness.

    This medicine belongs to the class anthelmintics. It enters into the organism and forms the free radical. Thus, the free radical and the altered molecule will interfere with the DNA synthesis and stops the growth of the organism.

        Warfarin

        Cholera Vaccine

        Atorvastatin

        These medicines may increase the risk of nerve damage if given together. Any symptoms of numbness, tingling or burning sensation in feet, hands should be informed to the doctor. An alternate medicine should be considered based on the clinical condition.

        Disulfiram

        Norflox Tz Lb Tablet is not recommended in patients receiving disulfiram due to the risk of confusion and psychotic symptoms. Inform the doctor if you are receiving these medications. Any symptoms of change in behavior, irritation, and altered coordination should be reported to the doctor.
