About Migranil EC 100mg/1mg/250mg/10mg Tablet

Migranil is the world’s most consumed drug for migraine. It controls, treats and prevents conditions such as migraine & vascular headache. Few of its ingredients are also added to energy stimulating gums, energy drinks, medicines for alertness, pain relievers and some cold medicines.

    Migranil tablet is a drug with vasoconstrictor and analgesic properties that works by binding to serotonin (5-HT) 1D receptors present on intracranial blood vessels which leads to vasoconstriction and reduced blood flow in cranial arteries. Adenosine receptors gets deactivated when the drug is consumed and leads to an increase in energy. Lastly, it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
