Lecope-Ad Tablet is a medicine that is available as tablets, syrup, pastilles, inhalation solution, dry powder sachets, ampules and drops as well as effervescent tablets. It is a systemically active mucolytic agent which works by breaking down the structure of mucus in the lungs and therefore facilitating expectoration. It treats acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by elevated mucus production.
You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to it, if you are breastfeeding, if you ever had Stevens-Johnson syndrome, or if you are 12 years old or younger. Take extra precaution while using this medicine if you have a liver disorder, kidney failure, or stomach ulcers. During pregnancy it should only be used if benefits outweigh the risks.
This medicine may cause the following side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, digestive disorders, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, allergy and others. The usual dosage of Lecope-Ad Tablet for adults is 30 mg to 120 mg daily, taken in 2 to 3 divided doses. For children of varying ages, dosage also varies.
