About Hepatitis B Prefilled Syringe

Hepatitis B Prefilled Syringe is a compound made from human plasma, and contains proteins which help in protecting against Hepatitis B, which is liver inflammation. It is used effectively in protecting people who receive liver transplants, as well as infants born to the mothers who are already infected with Hepatitis B.

This medicine is also used to prevent people exposed to the Hepatitis B virus via sexual contact or sharing of contaminated blood products from contracting Hepatitis B. It is not a standard vaccine, and is not meant for long-term usage in treating Hepatitis B.

This medicine has a few side effects, such as increased formation of blood clots, especially in a person with a history of heart diseases.
