About Gudcef Xl Tablet

Gudcef tablet is composed of Cefpodoxime, Cloxacillin and Lactobacillus. It is used for treating mild infections caused by bacteria.This medication treats infections like bronchitis, urinary tract infections, infections that develop in the ear, throat, or nose, and gonorrhoea. It treats these infections by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Missed dose should be taken as soon as possible. It is recommended to skip your missed dose, if it is the time for your next scheduled dose. Consult your doctor in case of overdose.

    How does this medication work?

    This medication is composed of Cefpodoxime, Cloxacillin and Lactobacillus. Cefpodoxime belongs to 3rd generation cephalosporins. It works as a bactericidal by binding to the penicillin-binding proteins and inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis. Cloxacillin is used to treat bacterial infections, which include pneumonia, septic arthritis and cellulitis. Lactobacillus are good and friendly bacteria’s which is used to treat diarrhea, high cholesterol and other digestive problems.
