This medication is a prescriptive drug containing Gabapentin and Nortriptyline, primarily used to prevent postherpetic neuralgia, neuropathic pain and seizures. It belongs to a class of drugs called anticonvulsants and antidepressant, respectively.

The tablet treats nerve pain in adults by affecting the chemicals and nerve responsible for these pains and seizures. It can also be used in combination with other drugs.

While under Gabapin NT Medication, it is advised that you avoid activities that may include lifting heavy objects or driving as common side effects of this drug are feelings of drowsiness, slowing down of cognitive skills and dizziness.

Other side effects include problems with coordination, speech problems, nausea, tremors, double vision or sudden jumpy movements. If these effects persist and become more severe with the passage of time notify your physician immediately.

This drug is a combination of two medicines: Gabapectin and Nortriptyllin. The former ingredient is an alpha-2-delta ligand which decreases the pain by modulating the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells, whereas the latter one is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the level of serotonin and nor-adrenaline (chemical messengers) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together, both the ingredients relieve the neuropathic pain, which was generated from the damaged nerves.
